Better Than Average Thursday

Just a quick addition here ..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAZZA. welcome to the ranks of 30-dom.

We decided to rename the days preceding Easter so they didn’t feel so left out that Friday got the title of Good Friday.

Monday now becomes “So-So Monday”
Tuesday will now be known as “passable Tuesday”
Wednesday will now become “Mediocre Wednesday”
And finally Thursday will be “Better than average Thursday”

We spent “better than average Thursday” breakfasting at the markets and gathering gourmet delights for the Easter feast. Then we had a leisurely drive up through Chain of Ponds to the ‘Big rocking horse’.
Bert quite enjoyed hanging out the back of the Ute.



We had a bit of a picnic up there, got told off for having Bert to near the cockatoos (apparently they were getting agitated) had a gooey American tourist tell us all about her ‘cockapoo’ (what the yanks call Spoodles) and then we had the race car championships on the way home through Tea Tree Gully.

Latest DVD we have now crossed off the list. Was Triple X – the Vin Diesel one. The action was good, the story was a bit lame and there was some decent over acting going on.

Good Friday was very good indeed. I got to sleep until midday; I had a bloody big head ache this am. Then I spent all day lounging in my pajamas, and doing the odd page in my scrap book.

Rob continues with his Robbie Renno rescue and has plastered up all the screws in the roof, in preparation for painting.
We have also continued in knocking off a few more tiles in the bathroom…. I still hate mosaics.

Matty dropped around for a wine this arvo, and bought his pooches to visit Bert. They ran and ran and ran. Bert is now comatose on the rug.

Ok better get to the fish and chip shop … thank god for orthodox Greeks, otherwise we would just be having fish and garlic bread.. Now we get chips to!
Giddy Up!

The Bert Miester after his hair cut ... and now here is the comment for Easter Saturday.
"How much brains does it take to drink water? Obviously more than what Bert's got!"
While we were sitting here waiting for the dial up to connect, Bert has just stood in his water bowl and spilled it absolutely everywhere. Then proceeded to lick it up off the floor, but there was way too much so Dad had to help out and mop up the rest.
